Carter Wilkinson

Carter Wilkinson is 20 years old and attends Loyola University in New Orleans. He is a sophomore majoring in their Popular and Commercial music program.

Carter started playing guitar at age 10 and has played with many Louisiana blues artists. Stevie Ray Vaughn, BB King, Albert King, Robben Ford, and Phillip Sayce have all influenced Carter’s sound.

Carter’s love for the blues has taken him to Memphis, TN to perform at the International Blues Challenge. He was selected as one of the top ten “Young Guns” at the Dallas International Guitar Festival, and he won the T-Bone Walker Youth Guitar Challenge in Longview, TX.

Carter currently gigs in and around New Orleans and is putting together his own band.

This summer, Carter was asked to become a Gibson artist and to be part of their Generation G3 program. He got to perform at summer NAMM in Nashville, and share the stage with other Gibson sponsored artists.

Jason Frankhouser

Jason Frankhouser (aka Killer Tone Texas) is a renowned guitarist, songwriter, YouTube creator and audio engineer for major label artists including: Bob Dylan, Billie Joe Armstrong, Edie Brickell, Jawbreaker.

Jason is regarded as an industry authority on tone. He has the innate ability to dial in the tone he’s “hearing” then perfectly mic the amp both live and in the studio.

In Spring 2020, Lucky Lady Vintage Guitars teamed up with Jason and we created Volume 1 of Lucky Lady’s Kemper profiles at Austin’s legendary Arlyn Studios (Willie Nelson, Ray Charles, Stevie Ray Vaughan, Les Paul, etc).
Volume 1 features 7 iconic vintage amps from our permanent collection, including Fender and Marshall amps from the 1950s and 1960s (The “Golden Era”).
