I’ve had a crazy obsession with vintage guitars and amplifiers for the past 30 years, mesmerized by their design, vibe – and most of all – sound.
Over this time, I’ve been fortunate enough to accumulate what many consider to be a fairly nice collection. As an “in-progress” blues and rock guitarist for longer than I’d like to admit, I’ve always played and scrutinized every piece of gear that I own.
In April 2019, I chose to turn my passion and personal collection into a small business and Lucky Lady Vintage Guitars was born. Since I’d never intended to sell any of my gear, the pieces that are most personal to me are categorized as “Lucky Lady’s Collection” and are currently not for sale. I’ve come to terms with selling (or trading) the majority of my collection and these pieces can be found in our “Shop”.
We’re actively exploring cool and interesting ways to introduce the public in general – and especially young musicians – to the history and virtues of vintage guitars and amplifiers. We want folks to experience and play and hear our gear. We’re always open to brainstorming about ways to accomplish this and other cross-branding opportunities, so feel free to drop us a line.
I want to close by thanking the plethora of people who have helped educate me about guitar gear and guitar playing throughout the years. Know that I’m working hard to achieve a high level of competency – and want to continue to learn – and serve my community – in the meantime.
